World weightlifting championships 2025
Once the competition schedule for the World Championship is finalized, we will release tickets for sale. This will happen during the autumn and winter of 2024. We hope to fill Førdehuset every single day during the World Championship in October 2025. Follow us on social media and we will keep you updated.

The World Championship is owned by the Norwegian Weightlifting Federation, AK Bjørgvin, Førde IL, and Tambarskjelvar IL. The event will largely be based on volunteer work, which will be compensated through the distribution of equipment and financial surplus. Additionally, the organization has an administration team that works on the planning and marketing of the 2025 World Championship.
