The World Weightlifting Championship (VM) is owned by the Norwegian Weightlifting Federation, AK Bjørgvin, Førde IL, and Tambarskjelvar IL. The event will largely rely on volunteer efforts, which will be compensated through the distribution of equipment and financial surplus. In addition, the organization has an administration team working on the planning and marketing of the 2025 Championship.
