The World Championship organizers are committed to providing accommodation for athletes, support staff, the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF), and other accredited guests. With thousands of visitors coming from around the world, rooms and beds across the region will fill up quickly.

Who are we?

The World Championship is owned by the Norwegian Weightlifting Federation, AK Bjørgvin, Førde IL, and Tambarskjelvar IL. The event will largely be based on volunteer work, which will be compensated through the distribution of equipment and financial surplus. Additionally, the organization has an administration team that works on the planning and marketing of the 2025 World Championship.
